Arrival of the guests:

• all guests are expected to arrive from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. unless there is a further notice on any other arrival time
• all guests must give notice about their arrival to the pension management, who also register the guests (passport or any other personal identification card is needed)
• articles which are not allowed to be taken to the room can be stored upon agreement with the management; in this case the guests and the management come to an agreement about costs of storage as well
  the guests pay in caution money for the damage that might be caused during their stay
• before accommodating the room, the guest and the management check the list of all the articles belonging to the room

Check - out:

• checkout time is 10 a.m., otherwise an additional day is charged
  before checking out the manager and the guest check whether the articles belonging to the room have not been taken or broken
• if any guest causes any damage during his/her stay in the pension (furniture, floor, windows, door, other equipment, property and landscaping), he/she will be liable for the caused damage
  accommodation costs and damage expenses are to be paid to the manager
• if the guests wish to check out before the expected checkout time, the management should be notified until 10 a.m. one day before leaving, otherwise an additional day will be charged
  

Assures to the guests:

• a well-arranged and safe access to their apartment (well-arranged access paths, lighted corridors, trash can and a guaranteed removal and disposal of garbage)
• well posted signs about the apartments categorization, price list (including tourist tax)
• appropriate equipment and tableware (for six persons)
• heating during winter
• cleaning apartments arrangement after check out
• reception and registration

Before leaving:

• to clean, dry and clear up all the table- and kitchenware
• to leave no food behind (oil, vinegar, salt, sugar etc)
• to shut off and open the refrigerator
• to take off the bedclothes
• to fold the blankets and to put them with the pillows on the edge of the bed or in the wardrobe
• to empty all the closets and other drawers
• to leave no garbage and rubbish in their apartment

PODČETRTEK – DESCRIPTION OF SURROUNDINGS

Village Podčetrtek is a centre of The Community of Podčetrtek. It is located at the easteren foothills of the rising ground Rudnica and on the right bank of the river Sotla. Podčetrtek is lying next to the border and has the market centre (of the Middle Ages). Height above sea level of the Podčetrtek is around 220 meters. Region of the community is classificied in Suppanon Slovenia. It has got approximately 3300 residents.

The residents of The Community of the Podčetrtek are involved in agriculture, tourism and craft. The wine growing is one of the most important agricultural branch. The sorts of vine that are growing on this area are: »chardonnay, beli pinot, laški rizling, sauvignon, renski rizling, traminec, kerner, modra frankinja, žametna črnina, modri pinot, kraljevina«.

Hillock and hills are raisin on the area of The Community of Podčetrtek Along the streams there are flat surfaces. Cycle tracks and footpaths are marked and often lead through the wood which covers more than 40 percent of the surface.

The intact nature give us possibility and pleasure to gather various herbs. In the sprig time we can pick primroses, coltsfoots, elders, plaintains, chestnuts, nettles. And in the summer time limes, milfoils, cumin, centauries and šentjanževko. In the autumn time brinove jagode, dog rosees, chestnut and black elders. We can pour hot water on these 100% natural herbs so that we know for sure that our tea doesn`t contains anything artificial.

INTERESTING THINGS FROM THE HISTORY:

Podčetrtek was given his name after the fourth day in the week (četrtek=Thursday). On this day there was a day of retribution and market day under the castle.

In the past the main road leaded through the market place, passed the school and leaded towards the castle and back to the valley toward the village that is today called Sodna vas. Along this road it was always very lively, because the people and their draught animals as well needed food and water befor taking a slope. The road along the valley of the river Sotla was built in the first half of the 19th century.
